The new concrete code was published on 23 December 2009 which includes incorporation of amendments 1 and 2 along with a number of other significant changes including increased concrete strengths, changes to design properties including new shrinkage equations and creep factors (Section 3), additional severe exposure classification (section 4), changes to fire resistance (section 5), complete revision of structural analysis (section 6 formerly section 7), new section on strut and tie modelling (section 7), changes to columns as a result of higher strengths (section 10), revision of walls to align more with the column design (section 11), and complete revision of stress development and splices (section 13).

Significant work is required to the concrete sections of Structural Toolkit to bring into line with this new 208 page standard. These changes will form part of Structural Toolkit V4 to be released later in the year.
