Codes have remained the same, some new timber types have been updated, Version 3 remains a solid product. A number of changes have occured with the introduction of Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 bringing a significant number of new issues to the software suite. The operational ease of using the solid Excel model is becoming more difficult and limiting in proposed functionality.
The design life cycle of Structural Toolkit is coming to an close and its time to freshen the face again, and add some long requested features .
The primary goals are to become more compatible with Vista and Excel 2007, add the ability to load and save data, and update the security to look at options for a flexible internet based activation system, as well as adding some newly developed design modules (PFC and plate, drainage design tools and more).
Our initial focus is on the interface, branding and defining the new features.
